Welcome one and all to the first week of Tune-Up Thursdays - SEASON 6.

5 years later, and I'm still stickin' to my guns, no matter how many people end up hearing this music!

I took a break from recording after the last few weeks of December, as well as the last few days of the Acapella Advent Calendar. I was burnt out, and stressed out, and felt I *needed* the break. But I vowed to be better with my time, and promised myself to cut the procrastination out of my life...or at least out of Tune-Up Thursdays.

And in typical 2020 fashion, I left it to the last minute. *BUT*!!! It wasn't from procrastination per se...it was from not being able to figure out what the first theme of the year would be.

As I was scrolling through the *hoard* of sheet music available to me, I was pulling myself in all sorts of directions - not being able to decide on *one* theme for the month of January. And then I came across an arrangement by Lynsie Jones...and then another one, and another one, and her purposeful misspelling of artists' and her own name (I assume to avoid copyright issues) made me chortle. So I decided to celebrate acapella arrangements by her.

Please enjoy my cover of Sara Bareilles' "Manhattan", arranged by Lynsie Jones (or according to the score: Tits M'Goo).
