Welcome everybody to week 3 of "Love-Adjacent" February on this year's #TuneUpThursdays.
Today's track is coming late to you because I got lazy and complacent yesterday, and passed out when I should've been recording last night.
Anyhow, the song itself is a new favourite song that I discovered thanks to Spotify's curated daily playlist!
Because I haven't really listened to any Top 40 radio music in years because I listen to sports radio in my car, I really didn't know any of Andy Grammer's music. However, I discovered the song thanks to the cover that the Tuft Beelzebubs did, and happened to find the Peter Lu arrangement in my Sheet Music folder. And of course, the song totally fits the bill for a "love-adjacent" tune.
Please enjoy my cover of Andy Grammer's "Honey, I'm Good", as arranged by Peter Lu, and the solo line inspired by the version done by the Tufts University Beelzebubs.
And as always, if you like what you hear, please share with your friends and family.
Side note: I love to collaborate!!! If you'd like to record a Tune-Up Thursdays track with me, just drop me a line at
Aerhyn.Lau@gmail.com and we'll work on something together to record!
If you have an acapella arrangement of a song you've been working on, please share it with me and i'll do a recording of it!
