Welcome one and all to 2020 - a new year, a new decade, and a new season of #TuneUpThursdays.

I was thinking about what how I was organize this season...and I've decided that after two years of structured-(ish) scheduling, and two years of random programming, I'm going to kind of go off the cuff. One month I'll have a theme, and the next month can be whatever I feel like.

And because I'm still broadcasting from Saskatoon, and still running the last week of my show at Persephone Theatre, I've programmed January to be Pentatonix cover month. Why? Because I love their music, and there's a lot of it that I haven't covered yet!!! That, and I based it off of the first two songs I've chosen for the year, and it seemed to make sense to just keep going in that direction.

Today's song is very apt for recent events. With a new year/decade/season, these lyrics really spoke to me:
"Tonight, the apple falls in time
We'll sing along with Auld Lang Syne
And throw confetti high up into space
Tomorrow morning when we wake
This town will be a different place
And the past will wash away like coffee stains".
