Welcome one and all to the first #TuneUpThursdays hailing not only from the month of November, but also my first from the city of Saskatoon, SK. (Also, apologies for the late upload - It has been a tiring day of travel.)

The rest of this year's tracks will be coming from the prairies, as I get ready to start rehearsals tomorrow for "Elf: The Musical" at Persephone Theatre in December!

Initially, I thought this month's theme was gonna be easy. And then I realized it wasn't so. And then I found out even with the alternative to the same idea, it still wasn't any easier, and actually became quite backwards and tricky.

With American thanksgiving being a November holiday, my initial idea was to cover songs that had the words "Thank You", or "Thanks" in the title. And then I realized that in my thousands of pieces of sheet music, I didn't have enough to cover the month. So then, I decided to expand a little bit, and just cover songs that had the words "Thank You" or "Thanks" in the lyrics. I had enough songs to cover the four weeks, but some of the songs' use of the word "Thanks" wasn't as genuine as I hoped.

Anyhow, to kick off November's "Thank You" month, please enjoy my cover of Sara Bareilles' hit song "King Of Anything".
