Welcome one and all to Week 2 of a very special #TuneUpThursdays month of July!!!

As I announced last week, this months covers will be featuring all Canadian artists, and all arrangements by myself.

This week's feature artist is my friend Natalie Moon, a.k.a. Daughter Of The Moon.

Our friendship started out 8 years ago as members of the Metropolis Glee Club, where we performed in random flash mobs at the mall, random flash mobs around Metro Vancouver, and at events all around the city including the Canada Day Parade, the Pride Parade, and the World Kindness Music Festival.

After losing touch because of life, we reconnected over our mutual love for yoga at Modo Yoga East Vancouver, where she is both a yoga teacher, and musician for the live music yoga classes. That is when I started listening to her original music, thanks to repeated playing by Melissa (who claims #DotM as her favouritest music artist of all time)!

I heard this song multiple times in yoga class, and at her café gig a few months ago, and told her that I *had* to do a cover of it for Tune-Up Thursdays. And ended up finding a perfect opportunity with this project.
