What's this you say? Yet *another* #TuneUpThursdays track that's *not* on a Thursdays? That's right folks. It's a special day today, and that alone deserves a special track.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY OUT THERE TO ALL THE MOTHERS I KNOW!!!

This track is dedicated to my own mother Angela, of course. Plus all of the other women who treat me like their own sons. Richard & Jenn's mother Marion...Kirsten's mother Vivian...and so on and so forth. And also to all of my friends out there who are moms...or who's daughters celebrate their daddies on Mother's Day too! (I'm looking at you Josh!)

Did you know: a Mother's Day YouTube video was one of the first covers I had put out online to the world? I was contemplating doing an acapella cover of that, but this idea won out.

This song isn't a Mother's Day song per se...but it does talk about a mother. An old mother. One who cared a lot for her fur-baby. It was one of our favourite pieces to perform in Sine Nomine. I don't know where Bruce found this piece, but we loved it to bits. Kind of like how we all love our mothers to bits!
