Welcome to a late-but-just-in-time edition of #TuneUpThursdays!
I lost track of time after taking a nap this afternoon, and *almost* forgot to post today's acapella cover.
This week, I'm continuing the celebration of comedy/funny songs in honour of April and #AprilFoolsDay, and today's song is one that I've been meaning to cover for a long, long time.
In 2012, there was no song that was funnier than Rob Cantor's song about a fictional version of Shia LeBeouf, based on the intensity of Shia LeBeouf's name when whispered by his friend. I originally heard the song on SoundCloud, and it was already awesome, but I gained even more respect for the song when I also found it on YouTube, with new arrangements by Greg Nicolett, and performed by Rob Cantor himself, along with the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, the West Los Angeles Children's Choir, the Argus Quartet, and Tally Hall bassist Zubin Sedghi.
A perfect way to continue comedy song month, please enjoy my cover of Rob Cantor's "Actual Cannibal Shia LeBeouf", as arranged by myself.
And as always, if you like what you hear, please share with your friends and family.
Side note: I love to collaborate!!! If you'd like to record a Tune-Up Thursdays track with me, just drop me a line at
Aerhyn.Lau@gmail.com and we'll work on something together to record!
If you have an acapella arrangement of a song you've been working on, please share it with me and i'll do a recording of it!
Song requests or ideas for my monthly themes? Message me on Facebook or e-mail me at
