Welcome one and all to #TuneUpThursdays, that day of the week where I present to you a self-recorded/self-produced acapella cover of a song!

The month of February is home to Valentine's Day, so this month, I decided to cover songs about love!

I'm really stoked about today's song because I'm covering a group that I get to see live for the very first time!!!

I've known about The Real Group when Richard played "Chilli Con Carne" for the first time, and got instantly obsessed with their entire discography at the time, listening to them on my Palm Pilot on shuffled repeat.

Almost every other acapella group I'm a fan of I've had a chance to see live: Rajaton, Pentatonix (twice), and The King's Singers. (Chanticleer and Home Free are the last ones on my must see list). So when my friend Stephanie and her group the Quayside Voices were bringing the singin' Swedes over to the lower mainland, I just *had* to get tickets.

And it just so happens that the concert is tomorrow, and they have an awesome arrangement of one of my favourite love songs, so that's the song I'm covering today!

There's still tickets to tomorrow night's concert, and they're also running a $20 vocal workshop at New Westminster Secondary School tomorrow morning at 10am!
