Welcome one and all to the first track of the 4th season of #TuneUpThursdays!!!

I launched today's song via Facebook Live earlier this evening, giving a behind the scenes look at how I do what I do!

This year, I've decided to work on another project. For this season of Tune-Up Thursdays, I'm going to set a theme for every month. And all the covers from that month will follow that theme!

In celebration of Tim Buckley's video game festive holiday he created in his Ctrl-Alt-Delete comic "Wintereenmas", this month's theme is Video Game Music!

The first cover I bring to you this year is a song that I have wanted to cover in a very long time (I know, I say that a lot!).

Jonathan Coulton's "Still Alive" from the video game Portal by Valve was a great surprise to anyone who managed to finish the great lil' puzzle game that was a part of the "Orange Box" pack that also included Half-Life 2 and Team Fortress 2.

The version that I'm covering this week is by VoicePlay, and their PartWork project.
