Welcome one and all to another double-acapella-cover day where I do an acapella track for both #TuneUpThursdays *AND* #AerhynsAcapellaAdvent Calendar.

We're almost at the end of the year, which means we're almost at the end of the second #AtoZProject of 2018.

Today's track is brought to you by the letter "Y". When coming up with the playlist for this A to Z Project, there was only one person I wanted to represent the letter "Y" - Stewart Yu.

Stewart is not only an awesome person but a very, VERY talented one. A great musical director and piano player; a great actor; great at everything he does. Aside from singing in the Metropolis Glee Choir together, my favourite project with Stewart was when I got to help him make a video for the Next To Normal YouTube project. We sang "I've Been", and the video he made was in the style of his other N2N videos, where he plays all the characters. This time, we were both playing versions of Dan. He, as the normal Dan from all his videos, and me as Dan being played by Brian D'Arcy James as Shrek. Let that sink in. (just in case you wanted to watch the video: youtu.be/AYO2SmEBj2s )

Please enjoy my cover of Stewart's mash-up of Katy Perry's "Firework", and Bruno Mars' "Just The Way You Are" that he arranged for the Metropolis Glee Choir back in 2011. (Holy CRAP! It was actually that long ago!)
