Welcome one and all to #Week145 of #TuneUpThursdays, the part of the week where I release a self-recorded/self-produced acapella cover.

For 2018, as you may or may not know, I've been embarking on something that I call the #AtoZProject. The second half of the year, I have been featuring songs following the order of the alphabet, by their artists - performers, composers, or arrangers.

This week, I decided to have a little fun justifying the track that was going to be brought to you by the letter "O".

I could've gone with something simple like O-Town, or Oasis - but I thought that would've been too obvious. I had purchased this arrangement from Trent Calderone, with the intent to cover the song last year...but seeing as it was a full and proper acapella group arrangement, I wanted to dedicate a proper week to the song to rehearse and record. And even more so when I discovered that the original version of this cover done by No Comment Acappella had some extra parts that weren't on the sheet music - so I took time to transcribe those in.

A procrastinatic year later, I finally made myself take the extra time in preparing this song. And snuck it in because Nicki Minaj's real name is Onika Maraj. Thus fulfilling the "O" requirement for this week's track.
