Welcome one and all to the beginning of the 2nd half of 2018's #TuneUpThursdays tracks!!!

Starting today, I'm going to start a second #AtoZProject for the year - This time, I'm going alphabetically with artist/arranger/composer's names! I discovered that this was harder to figure out, so later on in the alphabet (near the November mark), there will be some choices where I'm really stretching to make it work for the project.

Let us begin!!!

The letter "A" brings to you a song by the Canadian singer from Napanee, Ontario - Avril Lavigne...sort of. I managed to find a piece of sheet music online that was, what I thought, an awesome mash-up arrangement.

This mash-up was called "Keep Flying Bravely", and it was a combination of Avril Lavigne's "Keep Holding On", Maddie & Tae's "Fly", and Sara Bareilles' "Brave". Arranged by Jordan R. Alton for Rifftide A Cappella, I thought it's been a while since I've covered a mash-up, and a great way to start the new A to Z Project to close out 2018.

Funny story though, I didn't think to look for a video or audio recording of Rifftide singing this piece. I just took the sheet music I found at face value, and interpreted the music as I was sight reading. Apparently, I've interpreted some elements of the song very differently. Also, I'm no beatboxer. lol
