Welcome one and all to another #TuneUpThursdays, and today's track is brought to you by the letter "L".
This track has a lot of special meaning to me. After being told that because I was the only person in the SaskExpress cast that had an extended lower range, I would be stuck on the bass part for the entire school tour, I was disappointed that I would never get to sing a lead part in any of the pieces.
But then I came across this song in our set list, and secretly hoped that our director wouldn't stray from the way that Pentatonix voiced out the parts in this song. Luckily he didn't, and I was able to perform this song with the SaskExpress cast backing me up - not only to all 26 schools that we visited all over Saskatchewan, but also to *all* of Saskatchewan via the 2:30am slot during Telemiracle 42.
I was really proud to be a part of SaskExpress that weekend, and was glad that I could cement myself as part of Saskatchewan that evening.
Please enjoy my cover of the Pentatonix lullaby, "Light In The Hallway".
And as always, if you like what you hear, please share with your friends and family.
Side note: I love to collaborate!!! If you'd like to record a Tune-Up Thursdays track with me, just drop me a line at
Aerhyn.Lau@gmail.com and we'll work on something together to record! Or if you have an acapella arrangement of a song you've been working on, please share it with me and I'll do a recording of it! Or, if you have a song request, message me and I'll try my best to make it happen!
Join me next week for #WindBackWednesdays, and next Thursday for the letter "M".
