Welcome one and all to this weeks offering of #TuneUpThursdays, where I'm featuring an acapella cover of a song starting with the letter 'C'!!!

I'm really excited for this track three fold -

1. It's one of my favourite YouTube covers from some dear friends of mine: Alix Cowman, Lauren de Graaf, and Lauren Hamm - a.k.a. The Dearhearts! (www.thedearhearts.net) It's with them that I heard this version of the song for the first time. (psssst...they also have a new album coming out sometime soon-ish!)

2. It's also written and originally performed by one of my favourite Canadian hip-hop artists: k-os.

and 3. It's a featured song in the SaskExpress school tour entitled "Musicology"!!!

Just in case you can't tell, I love to sing in a treble register - it's something that hadn't really gone away when my voice changed. So I try to take advantage of it every chance I get!!!
