Welcome one and all to a very late, but just in the nick of time Tune-Up Thursday!
I apologize that this is showing up this late. It's been one of those days where I was just way to busy, and didn't have my computer with me to upload the song.
*However*, I had today's selection all prepped and ready to go otherwise.
Today's song is another vintage Sine Nomine piece. It was given to us by Bruce Pullan because of it's awesome usage of lyrics in the song.
A couple of weeks into #TuneUpThursdays, I found the sheet music lying around my living and thought to myself "I wonder if I can tackle this piece on my own?".
Four days of recording later, I discovered, "Yes. Yes I can."
At one point, Laus & Change (the quintet of my brothers Jonathan & Anders, my best friend Richard, and our friend Chris), were going to perform this song at the Sarabande Spring Concert tonight, but due to lack of time to rehearse, we settled on some English Choral Drinking Songs instead...(that might end up as a few #TBT recordings!)
The concert's loss, is your gain! I present to you "Insalata Italiana" composed by Richard Genée.
Enjoy!
And as always, if you like what you hear, please share with your friends and family. Those who may want to collaborate, or if you have any requests, feel free to message me at
