Hello everybody, and *WELCOME* to my new weekly feature, Tune-Up Thursdays!!

Seeing as how popular my Musical Advent Calendar turned out to be, I took a cue from my friend Natasha Kozak, and decided to keep recording music covers and sharing it with all of you. And since Thursdays are Sarabande rehearsal nights, what better day than to release my covers?

I figure if I can do 24 tracks in 24 days, 52 tracks over a year shouldn't be a problem, right? And really, it'll be 72 tracks, cause I will most likely be doing another Musical Advent Calendar next Christmas.

So here we start with year 2016, Week 1:

This song has been a staple in my choir's annual pub concert. Sarabande's Artistic Director/Conductor Paula Kremer gave this song to us to learn her first year as our new conductor after Bruce Pullan had retired.

It's a great song originally by Sting of The Police, it's a great arrangement by Australian acapella group "The Idea Of North", and I am very happy to have been able to multi-track record it, as I've been wanting to do it for years, and just hadn't gotten to it because of procrastination.

But no procrastination this year - it's at the end of my 2016 New Year's Resolutions.

Have fun listening to my cover of The Idea Of North's arrangement of Sting's song, "Fields Of Gold".
