Moni ndi Mwalandiridwa to the 2023 edition of Aerhyn's Acapella Advent calendar, and today we are at Day 22 (with 2 days left!).

A few years ago, Quayside Voices was hired to perform as an acapella group in a Hallmark Christmas movie. Initially, we were only hired to be background, but while we were on set, we were asked if we could come up with our own arrangement and sing it live in the shot. We obliged, and quickly came up with a few arrangements of holiday songs that were in the public domain, and badabing/badaboom, we've got an iphone recording of our arrangement playing on the set's speakers, and we went home and recorded a proper track afterwards.

I will admit, while I first joined QV as a beatboxer, I *pale* in comparison to Danjel Young.

Please enjoy my cover of the Quayside Voices arrangement of "Deck The Halls", with a verse in Welsh, that was featured in the Hallmark Christmas Movie "A Christmas Promise".
