Helló és üdvözlet to Day 4 of the 2022 version of Aerhyn's Acapella Advent Calendar!

I have had immense luck over my musical career. Between 30 years singing with the Bach family of choirs in Vancouver, 6 years of playing a touring with the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra, and almost 20 years in the musical theatre industry I have had a lot of really special moments.

One of the most special moments was being able to perform in an original musical, with the music penned by my friend Stephen Smith as my professional debut.

Now Stephen is not only a long time pianist of the adult Bach Choir, but also has been a pianist of the Elektra Women's choir and the Vancouver Men's Chorus. And he is a wonderful composer/arranger.

I have been extremely lucky to have been gifted some wonderful holiday arrangements over the past few years, and this year is no exception.

Please enjoy my cover of Sara Bareilles & Ingrid Michaelson's "Wintersong", as arranged by Stephen Smith for the Synergy choir.
