Tere ja Tere tulemast to Day 21 of #AerhynsAcapellaAdvent Calendar, as we slowly but surely approach Christmas Day!

Today's piece is to celebrate the premiere of another arrangement. However, I'm not the one premiering this piece.

I met Lane Price when I was a music student at Cap College. There were two sides to the music department at Cap; The Classical side, and the Jazzer side. There were two students who liked to straddle the line and do a little bit of both. My friend Angela (who was a Jazzer) ended up in Cap Singers, and I (who was then a Classical student) ended up getting a spot in the vocal combo group/class. That was where I met the Price brothers!

This piece was premiered a few nights ago with Musica Intima in Vancouver. Lane had posted a picture of the first page on his social media, and after reading that first page, I asked Lane if I could adapt his arrangement for acapella and feature it on the Advent Calendar. My initial thought was to celebrate the premiere by doing a fully acapella version of the arrangement the day afterwards, so as to not take the shine away from Musica Intima.
