Welcome to #Day9 of #AerhynsAcapellaAdvent Calendar!!!
Today I bring you something I've been working on since I officially started this project back in November, and track I wanted to record ever since their newest album came out in October.
That's right folks, this is another #Pentatonix cover!!!
I was very tempted to use Bob Rivers comedy lyrics to this version of the song, but I felt for the first annual Acapella Advent, I should keep everything pure - build up a little credibility first. lol
I also knew that on this track, I wouldn't be able to do the beatboxing justice. I'm no #KevinO, but then again, who is? So I asked my friend Eric Findlay to lend me his expertise, and he did not disappoint.
Funny story about Eric and Christmas. Last year, around Christmas was the launch of Star Wars: Episode VII. There was a webcomic that I had seen and shared where the author had bought his tickets in advanced, and was watching the premiere with his pregnant wife, even though they were around the due date. In the webcomic, his wife goes into labour 20 minutes before the movie ends, and he had to miss the ending. (

I find out many months later, in a random chat about Force Awakens, and I tell the story about the comic...to which Eric then says "Oh, that happened to my brother!", and then, "Wait, that *was* my brother!!".
Funny story, right?
Please enjoy my cover of PTX's "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" arrangement, featuring Eric Findlay's beatboxing skillz.
Also, please share my advent calendar and the musical Christmas spirit with your friends and families!!! If you have any song ideas, don't hesitate to email
