#Day19 of #AerhynsAcapellaAdvent Calendar and I am not going to let my malfunctioning microphone derail me from releasing a track today!!!

Good thing I have a few tracks recorded in advance, just for days like this!

Today's song is one that I had heard before, but never really paid attention to who sung it. I had recently become a *huge* #SaraBareilles fan because of her genius work on the "Waitress" musical. I mean, I'd always been a fan of her music...now I'm an even bigger fan.

So when I was doing research on Christmas music back in October, and was trying to pick the songs to sing for the Advent Calendar this year, this piece came to my attention, and I said to myself, "I don't think I know this one...".

I started to record this, and proved myself wrong. I *had* heard this song before, and it was a beautiful piece. I had it all recorded, with my voice singing both Sara and Ingrids parts. That is, until Wednesday. Because I remembered that my good friend Hilary was coming out west to visit her family on the Island for #Christmas. And I had promised her that we'd record a #TuneUpThursdays track the next time we meet.

So I changed directions with the song, and asked Hilary, "If given the chance, who would you rather be? Sara Bareilles or Ingrid Michaelson?"
